8th Grade Gothic Fiction Due Date…

8th Grade: the due date for your Gothic fiction is Monday, November 6th at the beginning of class. I strongly recommend that you proofread your work carefully. In addition to proofreading, you should begin your author’s preface now--work on that for homework this week.

When writing anything, you must shift continuously from the creative mind to the critical. Generate ideas with wild abandon, and then consider them in light of the task’s requirements. Consider the creative side to be a type of Mad Artist, and the critical side to be your chief editor.
